The Oregon Department of Education (ODE) Oregon Digital Learning program
The Oregon Department of Education (ODE) Oregon Digital Learning program offers online course access (50+) to rural school students. Online course access through Oregon Digital Learning (ODL) provides students in Oregon’s small and rural districts with flexibility and personalization to meet their desired pathway for career and college.
The Oregon Digital Learning program is working to enhance its online learning program by collaborating with Educational Service Districts (ESDs), STEM Hubs, universities and districts to expand course offerings especially those that will help increase access to Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs of study. The ODL collaborative will broker courses to K-12 districts across the state enabling students to learn online in comprehensive online programs or hybrid programs while still remaining enrolled in their home district. The ODL will also focus on providing professional development in high-quality online instructional strategies and pedagogy as well as training for specific content areas.
