Quality Matters Consortium
The VLLA members are committed to offering quality online courses to K-12 students and quality professional learning opportunities to educators by ensuring best practices are utilized course design and instruction. As part of the commitment, the VLLA members have formed a consortium membership with Quality Matters. Through this membership, approximately 400 teachers and staff have been trained in applying the Quality Matter rubric to course design. The VLLA has 120 of its members trained as Quality Matters Course Reviewers with many of the members using the tool to peer review courses or have their online courses certified through Quality Matters.1
